ACEnergy’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Little River has been fast-tracked through the Victorian Government’s Development Facilitation Program, which streamlines planning approvals for major projects that deliver significant economic, social, and environmental benefits, including renewable energy facilities.
The two projects are part of the Melbourne-headquartered company’s growing portfolio that includes the 400 MW / 1, 600 MWh Gara and 250 MW / 1,000 MWh Yanco battery projects planned for New South Wales, and the 500 MW / 1,000 MWh Central battery energy storage system proposed for Queensland.
