Solar energy is a widely available renewable energy source, however the performance of solar power generation systems is often affected by many factors, such as weather conditions, shading and component failure.
So here we propose an automated IOT based solar power monitoring system that allows for automated solar power monitoring from anywhere over the internet. We use ATmega controller based system to monitor solar panel parameters. Our system constantly monitors the solar panel and transmits the power output to IOT system over the internet.
The introduction of solar monitoring systems aims to monitor and analyze key data in the solar power generation process in real time, thereby providing insights into system performance and providing decision support to operators and maintenance personnel.
